Antigua Holidays Antigua's tourist office boasts that the island has 365 beaches, 'one for each day of the year'. It has great reefs and wrecks for diving and snorkelling. Antigua & Barbuda are best visited during the cool, dry winter months (mid-December to mid-April). The average daily temperature is 81°F (27°C) and it's no coincidence that this is also peak tourist season. The islands get warmer in July and August, averaging daily highs of 86°F (30°C).

Evening flavour Just like its reggae, Antigua’s nightlife moves to a laid-back beat. While most entertainment is hotel based, occasionally you will find live calypso music and steel bands playing in the local bars.
