The consistantly high levels of service we deliver to our customers is one of the most important factors to us at Citrus Travel. It means a lot to the whole team that each of our customers really does have a wonderful holiday and that they come back year after year.

Thank you for arranging such a wonderful honeymoon, we are glad that we were able to recommend you to someone else!

We had a fab time and the Safari was an out of this world experience, the lodges were perfect and it was great to see the diversity of the habitats by visiting both Samburu and the Masai! Governors camp was a favourite for us, we were initially sceptical having come from the very new Ashnil camp but found the traditions of Governors very romantic, lunch on the lawns, amazing food in the dinning tent, entertainment from the staff, elephants and Hippos in the camps, crocs in the water below, the smell of canvas and paraffin burners and the tea / hot chocolate brought to the room in the morning …. Amazing. The wildlife we saw was truly amazing too, neither of us thought that we would get so close and see it in such abundance! Lots of CAT sightings, the highlight being a cheater kill!

The Sands was very nice and relaxing, we were glad to be in a secluded spot and not at one of the monstrous complexes! The food was good and the accommodation second to none. The sand was powder white, something that neither of us had witnessed before!

Hi, Steve,

Well, we came home on Sunday and are still living on the excitement! We had a marvellous time, saw more cheetahs, rhinos, lions, hippos, elephants, giraffe’s than we had expected; hundreds of zebras and a fair number of wildebeest on migration. No mosquitoes!

We had as our driver for the week Simon, who couldn't have been better. We had a vehicle to ourselves, just the four of us, which was much roomier and more relaxing than sharing with others. He gave unstintingly of his time and took us on one long game drive instead of two shorter ones so that we - Tom especially - would reach the river crossing where the wildebeest were.

The balloon ride was a unique experience, most enjoyable, even if the landing was a bit bumpy - we had to drop suddenly before overshooting the Tanzanian border!

So thank you Steve, for your help in organising our holiday.

The Grocutt’s - Wales

We had a fabulous time in Kenya and was lucky enough to have great company on the entire trip - made new friends!
Saw the big 5, 4 of them on the very first day. Managed to catch a leopard on a tree, followed by it dragging its kill then strolling pass our van - amazing!!
Also, caught sight of a cheetah after having eaten its kill and marking its territory. Saw many lions, a couple being less than 2m away from our van. Also a family with dad, mum and 2 cubs up close. We were lucky enough to catch both the white and black rhinos.
Most amazing scene (according to our guide, something he hasn't seen in years) was a group of crocs tearing apart their kill of a wildebeest. They were floating down the Mara River towards a family of hippos. 3 hippos then started driving the crocs away, going underwater and flipping the crocs up in the air. Apparently they had a baby hippo which they were protecting.
The flamingos at Lake Nakuru was something else. We now have to go through our photos and match the animals up (got a little pocket guide).

Anyway, thanks a lot for an unforgettable trip!!

Well that's it the holiday is over, time in the Azores flew by. We both wish to thank you for your efforts in making the arrangements for us. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was comfortable and friendly. Flowers, fruit and bottle of champagne for my birthday.

Once again thanks for your efforts and we will not hesitate to use your services again.

Hi Steve.

We had a brilliant time on the Safari and at the beach hotel. The safari was an eye opener but a brilliant and fantastic experience. The Sopa lodges at Masai Mara, Naivasha and Amboseli were brilliant. The food was excellent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The views of Kilimanjaro in the morning from the Amboseli lodge were fantastic and breath taking. Our guide Richard Obeiko he did a good job by keeping us informed. He was a really friendly guy.
This will be an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
The Indian Ocean Beach resort was fab. The food, the staff, the friendliness, the atmosphere, the comfort ( I could go on) was brilliant. I can't say enough. We enjoyed the great cocktails, the cold beer, the breeze of the Indian Ocean, the staff’s willingness to teach us Swahili, and the resident entertainment group 'Animation' were a great bunch of guys and girls. I really can't say a bad word about it.
So, after all that Steve, I'd like to thank you for arranging the holiday, given the fact that we were totally going into the unknown, the holiday was great and met all our expectations, even though we didn't actually know what to expect when we set off. Once again, thanks and I see my self doing future business with your self.

It was amazing, the Jaz Belvedere in Sharm el Sheikh was perfect (though most of the entertainment was in Italian)! It was just what I needed for a short break and would definitely be going there again.

We had an incredible time and we both agree it was one of the best vacations we had ever been on! We were impressed by how seamless the whole process was, including transfers at airports, the quality of the lodges and our informative safari driver. We saw tons of wildlife; in fact, we saw everything besides the elusive leopard - which I guess is reason to go back!

Tijara was incredible - it had exceeded our already high expectations. The property was immaculate, the room was perfect, the staff were the friendliest and most helpful at any hotel that we have ever been to and there are no words to describe our view. The hotel was truly paradise and hands down our favourite hotel either of us have ever been to.

Our trip was just perfect! Thanks for helping us plan it and recommending the Tijara!

Thank you so much for organising our return to Kenya.

Sue and I had a wonderful time. We appreciated your help from the outset, with the itinerary ideas you put together for us and the flexibility within those. Our trip went smoothly from start to finish with international and internal flights and transfers connecting seamlessly. I loved the little planes and the terrific views over the Rift valley and the Aberdares. We ended up with just what we wanted. We loved the Porini camps, their green credentials, beautiful locations all so varied and the fantastic staff. We saw so many animals in every location and couldn't have asked for more. We really benefited from your experience and familiarity with the country and the camps. Will be in touch for our next trip.

Had a fantastic time in India!!! A big thanks to you for organising it!
Saw not one but five tigers over the week , 3 really good sightings from the jeep ( 2 in one day lasting 30 & 45 minutes - with tiger just walking behind the jeep about 3 metres away, one from elephant back & another where all you could see was a tail waving around !!! Saw loads of other stuff as well & I was very into my bird spotting! Really impressed with the Taj Mahal & had a great New Year in Jaipur.
Everything ran like clock work, only hitch was the train but believe in India it happens a lot!!! I think the trains have seen better days.

All hotels were superb - enjoyed the Triton in Jaipur the most. Tuli Tiger Resort was fantastic. All the guides & drivers were really good and always on time! They all helped us enjoy a great experience in India!!
So I can't fault anything & I loved the food - curry 3 times a day !!!!!
Bit of a shock to return, but in Kanha we saw frost in the mornings ... but then it was 28 degrees at mid-day!

Just a quick note to say we are home and very cold!! It was, as you predicted, brilliant!! It was perfectly planned - we met many people who, not only paid much more than us, but also had wasted hotel bookings while they were on safari.

It really was the holiday of a lifetime for all 3 of us - and all for different reasons. The kids club was a massive hit for the little one as well as for me!!

The Safari was absolutely amazing!! Thank you very much. You certainly know what you're doing when it comes to Africa!! I get quite emotional with my memories of the trip. I really can't thank you enough.

Dear Steve,
Just thought we would write and say what a fabulous holiday we had in Kenya.
From the very first game drive we knew we were going to be lucky...as we saw a leopard. By the end of the holiday we had seen the big five, including black and white rhino, lions and their cubs, lions mating, hyenas taking on a male lion, cheetahs and cubs, many more leopards, elephants, buffalo and lots lots more. Our favourite lodges were Samburu and the Masai, Mountain Lodge was also magical and we found it hard to drag ourselves away from the watering hole for dinner! The service at the lodges was impecabale. One of the high lights was the hot air balloon ride. We were very ready for our days on the beach at Hemingways and could have done with some more! We were captivated by Kenya and will defintely be going back, Hemingways especially will always hold a special memories for us as we got engaged on the beach!

Hope you are well. First day back today, finding it impossible to get back into work!! Honeymoon was absolutely fantastic, the safari exceeded all our expectations. We were really impressed with every one of the lodges and their staff, felt thoroughly spoilt at each one.

Thank you for your involvement in the organisation of our honeymoon to Kenya, we had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend a similar safari to anyone. Anatoli, who greeted us at the airport, was a real ray of sunshine after our long flight and our eagle eyed driver and safari guide, Baston, was brilliant. All the lodges we stayed in were excellent, but the Mountain Lodge on the foothills of Mount Kenya was simply without comparison, it was a really magical experience. We went on a forest trail with a guide whose name, I think, was Boston. He was superb, full of enthusiasm as well as knowledge and humour. Super! We were both taken aback by the champagne breakfast, laid on by the Mara Serena lodge. This breakfast overlooking the hippos was provided on our last day and was not only unexpected but also such a terrific location. It is the special touches like this which really made our honeymoon so enjoyable.

Please could you thank the Kenya team who were great, we did not need to lift a finger everything had been organised so well, staff were so friendly, polite. Service from them was Impeccable! Amboseli was fantastic saw hundreds of elephants and plenty of giraffes and wide selection of other animals. Malewa Lodge was also very special place, giving us a chance to experience something completely different and new. Beautiful setting and scenery. Both Alan and I felt that we arrived at these places as clients or guests, but left feeling like we had made new friends. Just a very quick note to say what an excellent job you did for us at the Movenpick at Taba. We had 'the best room in the house' - a bungalow right on the beach - and paid less than everyone else !! The food was good, staff friendly, and plenty of pool & beach area with sun beds. We had a fantastic time in Kenya and Mombasa. We can't put into words what a superb time we had. The service extended to us throughout was second to none. We have mega video footage and 800 + photos that will always remind us of one special holiday. The safari guide was superb - and we even purchased a large Giraffe whom we have named Peter (after the guide) - a constant reminder of a holiday of a lifetime.

Hemingways was idyllic - Paradise.
